Canadian trek ends as dog health halts journey
Agnes Rabski 47 from Sherbrooke began walking across Canada in May 2000 with three dogs Incas Darksan and Inuvik aiming for the Yukon. Her German Shepherd cross suffers back leg problems forcing a stop in Dawson Creek. She financed the trip by selling possessions and used carts pulled by horses then dogs. She praised friendly locals but road conditions and wind hindered progress.
