Dental Mobile Clinic in Chetwynd Opens Open House
A Dental Mobile Clinic has been stationed in Chetwynd since July 1 for five weeks at the Public Health Unit. Dr. Nixon, UW graduate in his second year, and his wife Mrs. Nixon staff the unit on loan from Canada's Preventative Dentistry Department. Open House is Thursday July 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. to view the clinic and its air conditioned, modern interior as they treat patients on a first come, first served basis.

Sixteen Guides from Ontario arrived in Fort St John July 4 for a British Columbia exchange. Hosts included Mrs Naomi Miller and Mrs Jean Bannerman with tours to a grain elevator, Friendship Centre, W A C Bennett Dam, Hudson Hope Museum, Don Titus Park, and Barbecue in Chetwynd. Three local Guides participated in the sixty year Guiding celebration with travel to Dawson Creek and Prince George.
