Logging worker killed in tree failure near Burnt River
On July 9 1986 Fred Morgan Taylor 63 was killed in a logging accident near Burnt River 100 km south of Chetwynd. He worked for Jahor Logging and a barber chaired tree split and struck him instantly. Next of kin notified. Also reports of disturbances arrests and vehicle crashes in the area including bear-related damage and thefts.
