Tembec’s 240000-tonne mill and shutdown rumors
The 240000 tonne capacity mill built in 1990 was bought by Tembec in 2002. In winter 2012 rumours surfaced of a shutdown as logging curtailment and price issues aimed to preserve working capital. Tembec, a Canada France forest products group with 4000 employees and about 2 billion in sales, trades on TSX TMB.
