Moberly Lake shoreline event outlines water issues and plans
About 30 attendees at the Shoreline Open House and Training Session at Moberly Lake Lodge on June 22 and 23 heard from Reg Whiten and Angela Van Valkenburg of Northern Health Authority on shoreline stewardship. The Boreal Centre for Conservation and Living By Water project organized the event with aid from PRWC, ML Community Association, and Moberly Lake Lodge. Recommendations urge a community sewer system, a treated water source, and collaboration with Saulteau First Nations, plus education on septic management and water safety. A summer survey by Dave Winarski will assess waterfront needs. contact details provided for participation.
