Reduce your risk of lead poisoning from ceramic dinnerware
Experts advise avoiding ceramic ware for storing foods, especially acidic items like orange juice and tomato sauces, and to use glass or plastic containers. Be cautious with products from other countries, antiques, garage sale finds, and amateur made pottery. Display use is safest for hobbyist ceramics.
