Hudson's Hope Demolition Derby crowns Car 777 winner
About 1,100 spectators paid 3.00 to watch 35 or more cars crash at Hudson's Hope 2nd Annual Demolition Derby on June 18. Car 777 driven by Colin Bennie and Lance Bennie from Fort St John beat out Car 67 from Hudson's Hope in a head to head finale, with Powder Puff winner Car 41 from Chetwynd. Prize packages totaled gate proceeds and contingents, including tires, jackets, oil, and trophies, all benefiting the non profit event.
