Tender call announced for a 158.6 metre bridge on the North East Coal Development Road at Pine River, 10 kilometres south of Chetwynd. Explosion at Sukunka Road Camp Burns Duncan Man
January accident at Goodbrand Construction Camp mile 70 Sukunka Road injures James Merrell of Duncan British Columbia. Merrell, a Northmont Caterers employee, was lighting a propane heater while an Arctic Propane worker refueled tanks when a gas leak ignited. He was taken to Prince George Hospital for burns to face hands and arms.

Local Students Plan Barkerville Overnight Trip
Moberly Lake Elementary School Grade 3 4 and 5 students will travel to Barkerville for a three night overnight trip planned for June 8.
