Mavis McFarlane was elected president of the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary during an installation at Agnes Douglas home. Officers elected include 1st vice-president Mary Saunders and 2nd vice president Vera Lekavy with Mavis Gerry as Past President. Service pins honored members for 100 to 1000 hours and total 1981 volunteer hours reached 3956 with 21 active members. A guest speaker, Doris Holzworth, attended the pot luck supper.
