Chetwynd Council rejects VIC contract proposal
The District of Chetwynd rejected the Chamber of Commerce 2014/15 Visitor Information Centre service proposal due to a sharp cost increase. The VIC has been run by the chamber for over 30 years, with the district paying most costs. Bids were received from the chamber and the district, but no decision was made at press time.
