Pharmacies urged to run drug disposal programs BC wide
A spokesman for BC pharmacists says all pharmacies must have disposal programs in place and bear the costs. The College of Pharmacists of British Columbia regulates programs to be adopted by every pharmacy. Potentially dangerous dispose risks include hormones analgesics and chemotherapy agents. Even OTC drugs like Tylenol or Advil should be left for pharmacy disposal.
