Chetwynd Women’s Resource Centre housing project update
The 32 unit low income housing proposal faced jeopardy after BC Housing found the plan unacceptable. An updated needs assessment and ten year projections were requested, with cost reductions above the maximum. Over 70 locals completed a survey, and the district and Legion offered funding help as the project advances.
