Record oil and gas rights sale in December 1999

December oil and gas rights sale raised 24.4 million with total 1999 revenues at 176 million. A 6435 hectare Muskwa Kechika parcel drew 7.4 million, the highest bid for a drilling licence in B C. The next sale is set for January 19 2000 offering 101 parcels across 82 403 hectares in northeastern B C.
