New Year Reflections and Local Holiday Travel Notes
The piece blends a seasonal meditation on self-improvement with a string of local notices. After Christmas at Upper Fraser with Kathie and Ed Campbell, the Hoffmans toured Disneyland in California. Contacts mention visits to Vancouver, Prince George, and Seattle, with several residents returning to Fort Nelson, Lethbridge, Edmonton, or their farms for winter. The annual Library meeting is set for Wednesday January 12 at 8:00 PM.

Fire Chief McNabb praised turnout and efficiency, noting one patient, Mrs Clayton Prince, was lost. Nine grandchildren were present including the Fort St John Centennial baby’s parent. Eva Napoleon of the Saulteau Reserve learned her brother Art Campbell died in Fairview, Alberta, and attended the funeral with Lloyd Campbell of Chetwynd.
