The Minor Hockey program lists practices for Pee Wee Leafs from 4 to 6 PM Monday and Pee Wee Elks from 6 to 8 PM Monday. Tuesday sessions run 5 to 7 PM for Blackhawks Mites and 7 to 9 PM for Legion Midgets. Wednesday 7 to 9 PM features Seals Midgets.
Elks Lodge 500 welcomes District Deputy Brother Don Kidd on January 13 at the regular meeting with First Vice President of the Alberta Elks Association Brother Ray Innes. Members urged to attend. A Becker's Trailer Park mobile home belonging to Mr and Mrs Stewart Sinclaire burned in the early Sunday blaze believed to have started in the kitchen. Firefighters arrived at 4:10 a.m. and fought the flames for about 20 minutes. the family lost all belongings including $400 in the wallet. A small house dog perished. The couple and their two year old son escaped after waking to smoke and calling for help. investigation continues.
