Municipalities challenge pesticide rules at Canada’s top court
The Supreme Court of Canada will hear a case led by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities WWF Canada and Nature Action Quebec with SLDF representation seeking to protect local rights to curb cosmetic pesticide use. The Town of Hudson Quebec bylaw from 1991 limits non essential pesticides and faces appeals by Chemlawn and SprayTech.
