Dawson Creek Thunderbirds won first place Taylor Inland Kenworth second. Dawson Creek Devils third. Chetwynd Avalanche fourth. Windsor Plywood earned Most Sportsmanlike with two penalties. Fans and families supported a lively weekend and more tournaments are upcoming.

Auto crime down in British Columbia in 2000
ICBC reports a one percent drop in auto crime in 2000 from 1999 with 104 989 auto crime claims a reduction of 1 074. Theft of auto claims fell 2.8 percent and vandalism 1.1 percent while theft from auto declined 0.1 percent. Total claim costs rose to 136.9 million, driven by year to year fluctuations in claims and repair costs.
