Memorial marks Lynn Gauthier death and calls to end domestic violence
About 55 people gathered at the Chetwynd Women's Resource Centre on February 5 to mark the first anniversary of Lynn Mavis Gauthier's death from injuries in a domestic dispute. The event highlighted violence against women with speakers, posters, and a candlelit portrait. Lynn's family plans an endowment to fund education and escape programs for young women.
