Little Giant Cadets Raise Over 3000 At Silent Auction
The Little Giant Air Cadet Squadron No. 258 held its annual silent auction raising more than 3000 dollars. Cadet Parent Committee Chair Michelle Parsons said a pancake brunch replaced the chili lunch this year. About 40 to 50 people and local businesses donated. Major prizes included a two person weekend at Torwood Lodge, an army tank ride for four in Edmonton, and two Prince George Cougars hockey game tickets. Proceeds support gliding trips and yearly events. Natasha Martin and Hannah Morold operated one game station.
