Regional district tax grants total over two million dollars
Municipal Affairs Minister Bill Ritchie announced 1983 municipal and regional district property tax grants totaling more than 2.3 million dollars. The payment, equal to provincial property taxes on BC Buildings Corporation property, supports local government funding as part of the governments property tax load. recipients were notified by letter from Ritchie and Finance Minister Hugh Curtis.
