Timmy’s Telethon Raises More Than Four Million
BC's Timmy's Christmas Telethon topped four million with a record 4 157 342 dollars raised for BC Lions Society for Crippled Children. Proceeds fund Easter Seal Camps buses patient care grants and Ester Seal Houses with international stars like Lee Greenwood Lesley Gore and Pat Boone among contributors. Local acts include the Suspenders Hightops Laurie Thain and Lamb Chop.
