New fee scale lowers anticipated hydro rate hike
Environment Minister Tony Brummet outlined a revised water rental fee scale for public and private hydro developments. The 1984 increase rises about 14 percent of the 42 percent planned, yielding a 1.5 to 2 percent rise for BC Hydro customers instead of 4.5 to 6 percent.
