Derby a smashing success at CHETWYND first annual demolition derby
MAUREEN GAMMON reports Chetwynd Motor Sports Society hosted a vivid demolition derby on Sunday August 20 drawing about 1,000 spectators. Sixteen cars including Orange Crusher and Kodiak battled through heats, with two-wheeled disqualifications common and judges awarding Powder Puff and Mens Final prizes to Sherri Rodenbush, Martin Rodenbush, Dwight Rector, Darcy Gagnon, Paddy Courteville, Brent Gerry, and Jeff Holland for safety and performance.
