Task Force on Employment and Training formed in British Columbia
A new Task Force on Employment and Training brings together 16 British Columbians to study unemployment and the shortage of skilled workers. Dr. Kenneth Strand will head the panel which will issue recommendations over two years as governments, labor, and business collaborate. The group aims to create a long term training culture to keep BC competitive amid global changes and a rising female workforce.
