Industry Training Authority formed to boost BC trades training
Victoria reports the government has created a nine member Industry Training Authority board to raise training quality and numbers in trades and tech. Advanced Education Minister Shirley Bond announced $73 million yearly for three years, with a pilot for new training models and self planned schedules for apprentices while maintaining Red Seal standards and safety compliance.
