High Notes Kafka and Emma Shapplin CD Reviews
Nigel Kennedy departs from classical roots on Kafka a 1996 EMI collection of his own compositions featuring Melody in the Wind with Stehane Grapelli and From Adam to Eve a near alternative classical work. Emma Shapplin’s 1997 EMI release a beautiful modern opera with powerful voice and Italian lyrics, a departure from traditional opera yet entertaining and persuasive.

Monster on a Leash Jazz CD Review
A lively 10 piece band delivers fun music with bold horns and jazzy vocals. Tenor alto and baritone saxophones trumpet flugelhorn bass keyboards and guitar headline the sound. Tracks like You Cant Fall Up stick in the mind as catchy tunes and creative lyrics showcase the ensemble.
