Northern co op invites northern wood workers to join
A new B C Associations Cooperative of Small Wood Businesses invites northern artisans and small timber firms to organize into societies to gain marketing services, group buying, and expert advice. The June 21 Sun Peaks meeting secured 100000 FRRC funding with co presidents Moonen and Milton guiding plans to exhibit at the Pacific National Exhibition and open a Lower Mainland retail outlet. Potential overseas markets and self funding through commissions are noted as targets.
