Tumbler Ridge opens town hall with ceremony
The two year project in Tumbler Ridge culminated August 5 in a formal opening of the new Town Hall with a ribbon cutting by Minister Don Phillips and Minister Bill Ritchie. About 250 locals and officials attended as Commissioner Patrick Walsh praised the project and the town’s development. A second ribbon cut celebrated the Fire Hall, with ministers and regional leaders present as lunch followed and Walsh received a staff plaque.
