Alaska Highway communities share vision for the future
The Alaska Highway 2004 Legacy Tour welcomed communities from Dawson Creek to Delta Junction with luncheons barbeques and entertainment. Mayor Wayne Dahlen thanked organizers as the visit focused on memoranda of understanding seeking a united voice to preserve history culture and wilderness along the corridor. A roundtable on September 30 will set guiding principles for preservation and action for northern residents travelers and future generations.
