Local artists and artisans from across BC gathered as the Chetwynd Community Arts Council held a three day exhibition at the Recreation Centre last week. The show featured fabric pottery paint and pencil works with participation from performers and writers as well.
On Tuesday April 23 2002 the Chetwynd Girl Guides Brownies Pathfinders held their annual Hop-A-Thon at Little Prairie gym. Girls hopped for two minutes to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Society with support from firemen Hendrick Horsthuis Dana Wilfur and Mark Wilfur who joined the event and promote MS advocacy and fundraising such as the October Boot Drive.
