Too little sleep linked to overweight and anxiety in kids
A Harvard led study of 915 Massachusetts children finds less than 12 hours daily sleep by age two doubles overweight risk at age three, with two plus hours of TV daily worsening outcomes. A Dutch study links early light sleep to adult anxiety and mood issues, while an Australian ADHD group shows 73 percent with sleep problems. Experts urge parental sleep hygiene and specialist help if needed.
