Chetwynd Tradeshow to feature 50 plus exhibitors this weekend

The fourth annual Chetwynd Tradeshow at the Recreation Centre runs Friday to Sunday with over 50 booths. Organizers say the event lets vendors meet customers face to face and showcase a broad range of products and services. Activities include Kids Corner, inflatable slide, climbing wall, and Pekinghorne Magic shows. A pancake breakfast by Talisman Energy runs Saturday morning.

Healing Garden invites volunteers in Chetwynd

Chetwynd’s Healing Garden enters the 2008 season with a planning meeting set for Tuesday April 22 during Arts and Culture Week. Coordinator Rene Poulin says gardens offer artistic expression and a peaceful space for hospital patients visitors and clients of community health agencies such as Tansi Friendship Centre Babies Best Chance and the Mental Health counselling offices.
