Saulteau hosts Navajo Code Talker Kee Etsicitty
Saulteau First Nation hosted Code Talker Kee Etsiitty and life skills coach Kwatsitsawi Meloche at Walking in Two Worlds on March 26 27. The conference organized by Saulteau Musketi and West Moberly centres on blending cultural learning with education, featuring talks on language heritage and men’s health. An 82 year old Code Talker from Albuquerque shared how his language helped save lives during World War II, with workshops, feasts, door prizes, and gifts of moccasins and a beaded eagle feather.
