More than 18 300 1981 harvest questionnaires were mailed to North East hunters and over 90 000 province wide. The forms help wildlife management evaluate hunting pressure and hunter success across species. In Omineca Peace Region, hundreds of bear, grizzly, caribou, elk, goat, moose, sheep and deer hunters have received or will receive surveys.
