Hatfield Family Photo Dispute Over Identified Man
A historical photo taken November 7, 1898 on Beech Creek Mirgo County shows Hatfield family members living in Logan County. The picture, from the Hatfields and the McCoys book, names the second man as Tom Chafin but Hatfield relatives insist it is Cap Hatfield amid a contest with fifty four entrants.
