Roane County seeks 500000 for new community hospital
Roane County plans a 2.2 million hospital with 500000 sought from public subscription. G Foster Hedges Jr said the project would use a 160 percent federal grant and a 20 percent loan if the community raises the targeted 500000. A 10 year growth period and prior patient travel to Charleston or Parkersburg illustrate facility shortages.
