True Temper Pact Gives Wage Boost
True Temper Corp and United Steelworkers announce a three year master agreement affecting Charleston Saybrook Geneva Ohio and Dunkirk plants. The contract signed June 17 raises hourly wages 16 cents first year plus job class increments and new benefits. Over 250 Charleston workers covered. Graduate assistantship in physics awarded to John R Jones of Dunbar by Ohio University. Jones is a 1966 West Virginian State College graduate.
