Garvey Horn Henry Born and Burly Dayall of McDowell county convicted of illicit cloaking. Horn given two years at Chillicothe reformatories, Henry Horn four years at Atlanta penitentiary, Day to be set. Others received prison terms or fines for Prohibition violations including Candora Pettis White Sulphur three years Alderson and 300 fine Nan Waldron McDowell two years Alderson 700 fine Parle Simmons Pocahontas one year day Alderson Smith Raleigh two seats Atlanta Jackson Ewing Beckley.

McKeever, Lions International third vice president, was principal speaker at a luncheon.
