Yokum’s New Trial Arguments Scheduled
Defense motions for a new trial in the Woodrow Yokum case will be heard in federal court here. Yokum was found guilty May 30 on a 10 count indictment charging transportation and sale of stolen government property. The defense cites 14 grounds for a new trial. He was convicted of illegally transporting a fire truck, a track wrecker and a car, and illegally selling firearms and other items.
