Fallout from Soviet nuke tests hits Japan and U S
Dr Ralph E Lapp testified before a congressional subcommittee that Soviet tests have caused 70 percent of radioactive fallout over Japan with traces of Uranium 237. He named two Arctic sites and one near Lake Balkhash as test locations and noted trajectories bring fallout to Japan and occasionally the United States.
