Stock prices rose to midafternoon then slipped, with the New York Stock Exchange posting its heaviest volume since May 22. The Dow Jones and major indexes showed gains in key stocks like Chrysler and Westinghouse, while electronics and nonferrous metals led among advancing issues. Charles Lamb, manager of the West Virginia Training School at St. Marys, has received a grant from the Southern Regional Education Board to train attendants for mentally related children. He will visit centers in Gainesville and Ft. Myers, Florida, from June 2 to June 6 to observe attendant training techniques.
