Fire destroys Robinson Grand theater in Clarksburg

A massive fire leveled the Robinson Grand theater in Clarksburg causing an estimated 350000 in losses despite 150 firefighters police and street crews fighting the blaze for 90 minutes. The blaze destroyed studio equipment from radio station WLBK and collapsed the sidewalls and roof while the front wall stayed upright. Fire officials suspect acetylene torches used on the roof for air conditioning work sparked the fire.
