Camp Opens July 3 With Eight-Week Scout Program
Camp runs from July 3 to August 28 drawing large registration. Scout Executive M H F Kinsey announces a special full-camp rate. First aid meet at Laidley on Saturday features Dr John Thames as committee chair. Charleston district entries include Wea 4 18 80 districts Mo 7 14 38 with teams from Oak Hill Mt Hope Beckley Raleigh Decote and Montecat. Opening day events begin noon with a parade and supervised activities by the state department of mines.

South Charleston Civitan Club Charter Presentation
The South Charleston Civitan club will be formally presented with its charter Thursday evening June 5 at a dinner to be held at the South Charleston Woman's club. International secretary Arthier P.
