Inmates Escape Larned Hospital One Captured
Three inmates escaped from the ward for insane criminals at Larned State Hospital after sawing through iron bars. Robert Woods, 18, of Wichita, was captured in Newton sitting in a stolen truck. Associates are Jess Phillips, 27, and Alex Greenfeather, 23, with a missing 19 year old girl Martha Werner. A green 1952 Chevrolet pickup was reported stolen from hospital grounds.
