In Rolla Missouri a 73 year old man. Claude Brock, forced entry the Hayes home and fatally shot William Leslie Hayes 26. Four others including Roy Hayes 51 and his sons Lester 11 and Roy 13 were wounded. Brock then shot himself twice in the chest with a .22 rifle. Brock had warred with Mildred Hayes his wife and her family over their marriage. The four victims were taken to Phelps County Memorial Hospital. Brock was found with two chest wounds.
