About 20 Jaycees are expected to pitch in Saturday to help Dick McMmimy and R. J. finish rebuilding his barn. Junior Chamber of Commerce president Jack Thompson stated the working parties have assisted each night this week after a barn fire caused an estimated loss of 15 000 to 20 000 dollars on August 22. The cause was listed as spontaneous combustion or defective wiring.

Progress on Lake Dam at Elsmore Near Completion
Work on the Allen-Bourbon State Lake and recreation area dam advances to a two level stage with 202,000 cubic yards of rock and dirt.
