Tragic train crash kills mother and six children in Minnesota
In Waseca Minnesota a freight train struck a car as Mrs Irene Zimmerman 39 and her six children headed to Sacred Heart School. Five children died at the scene and the sixth died later at hospital. A school patrol boy Robert Szyszka aged about 12 was injured by debris. The family were farm residents and the crossing is near the Minneapolis and St Louis depot. The husband James Zimmerman was hospitalized for shock.
