Most of the rise affects Royster Junior High and Hutton and Murray Hill elementary schools with a 33000 separate policy folded into the program. Contents coverage up by 3000. Total coverage rises to 2666570 with building protection at 2464500. Annual premium after first year about 4300.

Mrs Carter Injured by Cherry Limb in Mower Accident
Mrs John Carter of 608 N Evergreen was injured at about 7 15 pm yesterday when a cherry tree limb fragment was thrown into her right ankle by a power lawnmower blade. She received treatment at Neosho Memorial Hospital and returned home.

Car Truck Collision Near Chanute Injures No One
A collision on US59 near the Neocha drive-in theater north of Chanute at about 1 50 p m involved Charles Knetzer of Chanute driving a 1957 International truck belonging to Harry Byers & Sons and Harry Veeder of Cherryvale in a 1959 Chevrolet owned by a Tulsa rental agency. Troopers estimated $290 damage to the car and $35 to the truck.
Cash and Cigarettes Stolen at Marco Station
About $5 in change and 30 to 40 packs of cigarettes were stolen in a break in at the Marco filling station on highway K-39 east of Chanute. The vending machine was damaged during theft and the building was entered through a window in the men’s restroom.

At a farm northeast of Chanute Mrs. Bloom and her father John A. Henrie manage 1600 rabbits with 66 does and 19 bucks. They breed about seven litters per doe annually, producing roughly 12 rabbits per litter and up to 75 offspring per year. Rabbits are raised in eight foot hutches, fed pellets, and marketed at two months to a Rogers Arkansas meat-packing firm. Normal fur prices run around 20 to 25 cents per pound with Easter demand for pets boosting interest.

438 Die In Labor Day Holiday Traffic Toll
