Ghosts and other characters filled the Kiwanis Halloween party at Memorial auditorium as about five hundred children and several hundred parents attended. The Junior High drum corps led the parade with high stepping, followed by tap numbers by Beverley Binkley Steven Moon Pat Arnold and Diane Crawford. Prizes awarded for best costumes ranged from 50 cents to 1.50 with winners named from Hutton Alcott Murray Hill Lincoln and Roosevelt schools.
