Jerry Castleberry, held in Erie on a grand larceny charge for allegedly stealing seven cattle from the Chanute Sales Pavilion on August 12, was admitted to Neo sho Memorial Hospital Saturday night for bronchitis and possible heart issues. His condition improved by today. He was arrested in Springfield, Missouri, on September 29 and is jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond. The sheriff noted his illness began Saturday evening after consultation with an Erie physician.
